Shiver (Wolves of Mercy Falls)

Shiver - Maggie Stiefvater This has been on my to-read list forever. For some reason I knew that once I started I wouldn't be able to put it down. I was right. Sam and Grace have been in love for six years. Unfortunately Sam is a wolf, one day they meet human-human and finally get to live their love. They're both equally obsessed with each other and Stiefvater manages to make this obsession loving, natural, cute, without it being suffocating and over dramatic. It truly was a lovely love story.

My favorite part was when Sam asks Grace to describe him:
"He was right to look doubtful. My head didn't work with words well - at least not in the abstract, descriptive, sort of way. 'Sensitive,' I tried.
Sam translated: 'Squishy.'
'Creative.'
'Dangerously emo.'
'Thoughtful.'
'Feng shui.'
I laughed so hard I snorted. 'How do you get feng shui out of "thoughtful"?'
'You know, because in feng shui, you arrange furniture and plants and stuff in thoughtful ways'"

LOVED it. Cutest exchange I've read in a long time and very Grace and Sam. I hope this natural formula follows in the next two books in the series.
