Fifty Shades of Grey: Book One of the Fifty Shades Trilogy

Fifty Shades of Grey - E.L. James Where to start? I didn't hate this. I didn't love this either. I've read way better erotica BDSM but there was something about the quirky love interaction that I found endearing. The writing was fine. Entertaining. The author is a tv exec and it comes through in the style of the book. Even the way it ends. A cliffhanger is always good at the end of a season. But despite all of this what annoyed me the most is - Ana. TIRED of reading about women with no backbone who are so oblivious of how beautiful they are. And the self doubt and self esteem issues - ARGH!!! Half the time I was just as perplexed as Mr. Grey as to why she was crying. Overall I found the story entertaining and fast to read. It was a good read on this warm lazy day.
