It wasn't what I expected after reading [b:Angels' Blood|3819326|Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1)|Nalini Singh|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348607169s/3819326.jpg|3863622]. It felt as a filler/in-between book for bigger things to come. It was slow paced and dragged a bit at certain parts. BUT I do see the importance in all that was revealed. We find out about Elena's nightmares and the reason behind her falling out with her dad. We follow her through her transition to angel and how crazy some are. Most importantly we get a very real understanding of the depth and intensity of the love between her and Raphael. It's overwhelming in how intense and pure it is.
Loving all the side characters and Raphael's seven. Hope we learn more about them.
