Soulless (The Parasol Protectorate)

Soulless - Gail Carriger, Gail Carriger I loved this!! Did it have its flaws? Sure. The constant description of Alexia was tiresome. She's Alpha. She's Italian. She has a big nose and dark skin. Got it. But the story grabbed me from the beginning. And didn't let go. Lately it's rare that a book has that affect on me.

I love werewolves. And I absolutely loved Lord Conall Maccon. Alpha. Stubborn. Irresistible. Charming in a brutish way. Love it. Professor Lyall and Lord Akeldan were charming and intelligent and I want to learn more about them.
"He kissed her as though he needed her to subsist. It was unbearably intimate. Worse than allowing one's ankles to be seen."

I liked that the romance was sweet and steady. I liked that Alexia took such a scientific approach at what it was like to kiss and what not. Good mixture of different elements that have left me wanting more.
